Modern Hardwood Floor Service has internal and external vacuums that collect close to 99% of the dust that is created, keeping your home as clean as possible during the process. It is during the sanding process that we finalize the floor stain color. To ensure our clients get the stain they want, we create samples on your floor so you can see the final color. That way you can be confident you will like the final result. Once the color is selected, we finish sanding the floor and then stain it. We then apply multiple coats of a protective finish to the floor to preserve it for years to come.

Sometimes all an existing floor needs is a good cleaning and a fresh coat of finish. We use specialized machinery that cleans floors safely, efficiently and much more effectively than what can be done by hand. Perhaps a cleaner was used that left a haze behind. We can remove dull finishes from the floor without having to go through the whole process of a complete re-sanding and refinishing process.
